The Rio–Antirrio Bridge (Greek: Γέφυρα Ρίου-Αντιρρίου), officially the Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge, is one of the world’s longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges and longest of the fully suspended type. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese peninsula to Antirrio on mainland Greece by road. It opened one day before the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics in 12 August 2004. Also, in the opening day the Olympic Flame has crossed the bridge.

Revisiting Salamina for work and I used my gear in my break to snap a few photos from Country side Salamina. This small fisherman’s hut with the small boat caught my eye.

Walking down the street saw this girl in a semi-light alley, I took the shot with my D7200 and the Nikon 35mm, since no focus was available i had to rely on steady hand, luck and crop power. I really like it I hope you too. I also wanted to link this image with a summer song by Foreigner. ¨Waiting for a girl like you¨. although she must be waiting for a man like you… lol.

I found some scans from old prints from the summer of 1990, an amazing summer with my brother, sister and cousins. Shot against the sun with my old Zenit 11. Bad photographs (it had been one of my first rolls… ever) but great moments. I wish I find the negatives to see better results from my scanner.
