Walking down the street saw this girl in a semi-light alley, I took the shot with my D7200 and the Nikon 35mm, since no focus was available i had to rely on steady hand, luck and crop power. I really like it I hope you too. I also wanted to link this image with a summer song by Foreigner. ¨Waiting for a girl like you¨. although she must be waiting for a man like you… lol.

Hot Greek City Summer

Some are more fortunate this Summer

ZTE Blade S6 Flex, f/2, 1/490, ISO 50.

I found some scans from old prints from the summer of 1990, an amazing summer with my brother, sister and cousins. Shot against the sun with my old Zenit 11. Bad photographs (it had been one of my first rolls… ever) but great moments. I wish I find the negatives to see better results from my scanner.

Abandoned factory site….. photo shoot has ended. I am heading to my car walkind down the dirt road. I hear an old bike approaching. Its a scavenger with some parts loaded on his bike running down the barren dirt road. I needed to get on shot…..

I believe It was worth it.

The Byzantine Church of St Nikolas is situated in the village of Ano Gerakari.

This location has a fantastic view which spreads to the surrounding hills and the plain as far as the castle of Zakynthos.

The sleepy village of Ano Gerakari is still mostly untouched by tourism and is easily reached from the resorts of Alykes, Alikanas and Tsilivi.
